Pumpkin Almond “smoothie”

This has become one of my staples the past few days since pumpkin is back on the shelf.

8 oz unsweetened Almond milk (vanilla flavor)

1/4-1/2 cup canned pumpkin

toasted almonds ( I usually chop up about 6-7 and put them in the micro for a min)

pumpkin pie spice to taste

guar gum or xanthan gum (tiny bit. This will help thicken it up)

sweetener to taste

Throw everything(except almonds) in the blender with about 1/3 cup water.  Add ice until blended to a consistency you want. Sprinkle almonds on top.
