Beef Barley Soup

This makes 1 serving, but you can very easily double or triple it 🙂 It is also very adaptable and you can add more types of veggies!  I am keeping it cleaner by not adding the optional things, but feel free to do so! 

3 oz cooked eye of round (cut into bite size pieces)

1 long green onion (snipped)

1/2 cup cooked barley

1 cup shredded cabbage

1 cup water

1/4 tsp low sodium beef bouillon

dash of basil

dash of black pepper

salt (optional)

stewed tomatoes (optional)

Carrots (optional)

Throw everything in a container and heat. This is great to take to work and just heat in the microwave 🙂
